Cape to Cape Track

The Cape to Cape Track winds it's way through the magnificent Leeuwin-Naturaliste National Park, in the South-West corner of Western Australia.

The Track is "a combination of different types of terrain and surface.  It varies from smooth, wide tracks, to narrow rocky paths, to soft sandy beaches and a few rough scrambles"

It begins at Cape Naturaliste and finishes 135km later at Cape Leeuwin.  You need to allow between 5 and 7 days to complete the walk.  The track is well marked by square pine posts spaced approximately 200m apart.

There are four low key campsites on the Track.  Each comprises of a bush toilet, rainwater tank, picnic table and seats.  Unlike the Bibbulmun Track, there are NO SHELTERS, so walkers are required to carry a tent with them.  There are also numerous access points to join and leave the Track.

It is recommended that walkers take with them the helpful publication "The Cape to Cape Track Guidebook" by Jane Scott & Ray Forma.  On Track Hiking Hire have a copy available for our customers intending to undertaking the walk.
