STOVES 

All our stoves are mainly gas type (we do have one trangia) and fit either the piercing type gas canisters or the the screw top type.  They are compact and light weight and suit hiking type adventures.  The cost of hiring the stoves DOES NOT include the gas canister.  These need to be purchased separately.

Most camping stores will stock these, however we do have a number of canisters for sale.  We also have some used canisters that you are able to purchase at a reduced cost where a good volume of gas still remains.  We may even give you a canister for FREE where only a small amount of gas remains or as a backup.

We recommend that new canisters be purchased to ensure there is enough gas to meet contingencies.  We may buy-back used canisters from you where good gas volume still remains.  Donations of canisters with small volumes are welcome so that these can be given to other hikers as back-ups.

Larger gas stoves for camping (not hiking) are also available.  Ask one of our Outdoor Specialists for details.

COOKING GEAR

We have a range of compact and light weight cooking pots & pans for hire.  Enamel mugs, cutlery sets, toasters and other helpful items are also available for hire or will be provided complimentary when specific gear is hired.

The cost for stove hire and cooking gear hire starts from $5 each for the gas type and $10 for the Trangia for our standard 5 day hire period.
