Stirling Ranges

The Stirling Range National Park is located approximately 350km south east of Perth.

The Park boasts more than 25 hills & peaks - the most famous of these being Bluff Knoll and to a lesser degree Mt Toolbrunup.  There are numerous walk trails to these hills & peaks making this National Park a hiker's paradise.  The excellent publication "Mountain Walks in the Stirling Ranges (Parts 1 & 2)" by AT Morphet is a recommended companion on all walks.  On Track Hiking Hire have copies of this publication available for our customers intending on heading down this way.

Bluff Knoll

Aside from the stunning landscapes, the Park also boasts more than 1500 species of flora - some of which are found nowhere else in the world.  Couple that with the dynamic weather conditons of the park (where snow fall is an annual event) and you have a National Park that sits on the top of any "Must Do" List.

More information is available at the Department of Conservation & Land Management's "Nature Base" website at www.naturebase.net and by clicking on "Park Finder" in the menu.
