Best Camping Spots

We know heaps of good spots for camping - from the Kimberley, Pilbara and Mid-West Region to the South-West and Goldfields.  Here is a list of our favourites.  If you want a heads up any other good spots, just drop us a line at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. NANGA/DWELLINGUP

Less than 1.5 hrs from Perth, this family friendly camp ground offers many places to camp near the Murray River.  Our favourites are Yarragil, Baden Powell, Nanga Mill and Charlies Flat.

Firewood is for sale on the road just out of Dwellingup.  Dogs are permitted.

MOON'S CROSSING/BANNISTER BRIDGE

Around 300km from Perth, just near Pemberton these to camp spots are located right on the Warren River.  We fish these rivers all the time for Redfin on our kayaks.  Marron is plentiful.  If you have a 4wd there are some secrets spots we can tell you about also.

BOYAGIN ROCK

Approximately 100km east of Perth, this little known camping area is a great quiet location with the large granite rock the feature of the area.  Great views from the the top of the rock.  Possums visit during the night.

DRYANDRA/CONGELLIN

Numbat country, 150 km south east of Perth (near Williams).  Plenty of native wildlife - numbats, woylies, echidnas and possums in around the camp ground area.  Some local history laid out with information plaques near Dam and old Water Tank and self drive with FM radio commentary.

ELLENDALE POOL

Wanted to experience the Kimberley but too far to go? Ellendale Pool is just like being there.  Lovely swimming pool, paper barks and white cliffs.  Good facilities - BBQ, Toilets etc.  Located near historic Greenough and not far from Wildflower mecca Coalseam National Park.
