New Cape to Cape Guide

I really loved the Cape to Cape walk I did recently.  And when I compare it to the Bibbulmum Track it has it's pluses and minuses.  One of the minuses is the book.

I have been (in the past) a bit critical of the content.  It appears a somewhat difficult to understand if you haven't done it and are trying to paint a mental picture of how the walk will unfold.  I must say it made a bit more sense once you were physically on the Cape to Cape Track though I do still believe the book could be improved on.

This aside, I found the size of the book not that handy for walking.  It was almost too big for the hood of my backpack and probably a bit too big to carry in your hand (compared to say the Bibbulmun Track Guidebooks).  You certainly couldn't fit it in your pocket.  This is a bit of a shame as I feel that you really need to refer to it often in order to negotiate the Track with some confidence.  In other words I wouldn't do the track without it.

Im hoping to produce a much smaller and concise guide based on my experience.  Stay watching this space.....
