Campsite Info
You have probably heard about the Bibbulmun Track and Munda Biddi Trail? Did you know both these trails offer free, comfortable camping options? A summary of what to expect, together with some pics is provided below:
BIBBULMUN TRACK
- 3-sided shelter (sleeps 8-15 persons depending on hut type)
- Pit toilet
- Picnic Tables
- Log Books, Camp Diary
- Brooms & Rakes
- Drinking Tanks (rain water - generally safe to drink without boiling)
- Tent sites
The campsites are spaced an easy day's walk apart (in the range of 15-22 kms). They are generally "walk-in" sites only. This means the huts won't get crowded by general campers. Refer maps & guidebooks for more details (available from us on a "free use" basis.
MUNDA BIDDI TRAIL
- 4-sided shelter containing bunk beds (sleeping 20-30 persons)
- Pit toilet
- Picnic Tables
- Log Books, Camp Diary
- Brooms & Rakes
- Drinking Tanks (rain water - generally safe to drink without boiling)
- Tent sites
- Bike Racks
- Bike Maintenance Area
The campsites are spaced an easy day's ride apart (in the range of 30-40 kms). They are generally "ride-in" sites only but walkers are welcome on the trail and in the huts.
