Living Rocks Walk Update

I have been writing about a proposed walk I want to gain support for once loosely tagged "The Lakes Walk".  I have progressed my data collection and mapping to the point where a 25 page proposal was submitted to the City of Mandurah in November 2010.  The proposal outlined the walk in detail, including the new name "The Living Rocks Walk" to recognise the thrombolite attraction at Lake Clifton.

It is a difficult process to get through the red tape, but I am encouraged by the support of many people.  Even if the walk does not get formal recognition, I still intend to continue my own work on marking out and providing a rudimentary guide book for those walkers interested in completing the walk.

The summer heat (and my fear of snakes) has put this on hold for the moment - however once the cooler months arrive, I will begin to document the route in a format available to all.

So stay tuned!  If you would like a copy - please email me and I will send you one when its finished.
